Early Doors!

Thought I'd do a follow up post to yesterday as to whether there are any betting opportunities on the stables that we are following-don't forget I am primarily concentrating on betting for those two stables only. I will try and alert as to the dangers and will sometimes highlight a horse in bold that I will back myself.

The betting has evolved over night and for the better in some cases.

1.45 Chepstow - Baulet De laroque is on the drift at 7/2 - but if he does manage to get to 5/1 he'd be worth an ew. He did indeed drift out to 6/1 - however approaching the last flight, when going well, Sam Twiston Davies somehow managed to allow himself to be squeezed out and unfortunately he couldn't get back up to be placed.
2.50 Chepstow - Alibi De Sivola has been nibbled at and is 13/8 in places but that is too short for me. This is big chasing type that will probably be seen to better advantage over the larger obstacles but he should be able to pick up a hurdle or two along the way.
3.20 Chepstow - The Eaglehaslanded - whilst I have a connection to the name "Sykes" I don't think that The Eaglehaslanded has any less of a chance than the well supported fav and if For N Against runs well in the 1.35 Warwick it will boost The Eaglehaslanded's form and 4/1 is worth an ew. This went pretty much as expected with Sykes and The Eaglehaslanded dominating the finish and Sykes coming out on top..
4.20 Chepstow - Crockery is on the drift but I think she has as good an ew chance as her opponents so the 20/1 with Coral/Skybet looks worth an ew. Crockery isn't overly big but she went well for a long way and stayed on for 4th.

2.05 Warwick - Cobra De Mai- Pembra has been well backed as anticipated but the 11/2 about Cobra De Mai is worth an ew. There was some late money as the fav drifted in the betting, presumably because she was keyed up.The writing was on the wall for Cobra De Mai on the bend into the home straight as any chance of mounting a challenge petered out from there. May come on for run but not one to set the world alight.
2.40 Warwick - Willows Saviour - It's a surprise that the two horses at the head of the market haven't run for nigh on 2 years apiece and with the Venetia Williams horses in fine form it may be an idea to back him and Twiston Davies Ballyboley against the other two as all four showed a similar level of form over hurdles.

The Eaglehaslanded - 0.50 point ew @ 4/1 across the board
Crockery - 0.50 point ew @ 20/1 Coral, Betfred and Totesport
Cobra De Mai - 0.50 point ew @ 11/2 Bet365 and BetVictor

Good Luck !
