After Sole Power winning yesterday he confirmed that it is better to follow your head than your heart as Heeraat would have been the latter for me.

On to today and the sprint at 3.10 looks in my mind to be between the placed horses at Doncaster on 13th April namely Hamza, Shropshire and Hitchens, the form of that race has been franked by Move In Time, Duke of Firenze and York Glory.

Hamza led them along at a good pace that day and only faltered in the final furlong and he will strip fitter today with Kevin Ryan beginning to show signs of return to form. Shropshire meanwhile has run a couple of decent races already and he came out best on speed figures at Doncaster but comes out worst on the weights today and it could be between Hitchens and Hamza. Not sure Hamza will last up the hill whereas Hitchens has his strongest part of the race at the finish and its another head versus heart decison for me and going to go with my head and Hitchens to prevail at 8/1 with Richard Hughes being a positive jockey booking.
