Hamish to make it three ?

Hamish Mcgonagall dominated a class 2 handicap at Musselburgh last time off 99 and although he has gone up 6lb since he gets into this race on good terms with the others, Look Busy has a good record at this course but she was best in last time and took advantage. However tomorrow Hamish should be able to dominate this small field from the front.

  1. Racing really is a funny old game ! Hamish didnt seem to like the track at Beverley, whereas Group Therapy looked totally rejuvenated for his switch to Jeremy Noseda. As expected Look Busy struggled this time as she had all advantages last time. Hamish will have another day in the winners enclosure and we will have to look out for him back on a more conventional track. I dont think he was outclassed he just looked ill at ease with himself. The winner though looks right back to his best and we could see him stepping up on this performance. Sprints are not the greatest betting medium, however we are all learning together and I'm confident another winner will be along shortly so keep in touch over the weekend.

  2. What I've done before in sprints were there are several in with a chance and I can't split them is either to wager on 2 or 3 to win or, if I have a short-list of 4,perm them in exacta's.

  3. Thanks, I shall be looking at The Wokingham in depth on Saturday with a view to coming up with a shortlist for what is one of the biggest sprint handicaps of the season. I will also have news on some other races during the day.
